Dior is one of the world\u2019s most sought-after brands. As it\u2019s an internationally well-recognized product, some Facebook pages claim the company has provided big discounts for different occasions in Cambodia and the region. Then, the claim has been shared many times for several months. However, we discovered the claim was false and the promotion was an online scam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SOCIAL MEDIA CLAIM<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Facebook page named AEON Mall Mean Chey<\/a> claimed that Lady Dior \u2013 bags produced by the France-based Christian Dior \u2013 was on sale with a big discount of up to 60 percent for the Khmer New Year Festival last month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Facebook page requested customers to click on a link attached to the post, saying it\u2019s a way to get the bid discount from the company providing for only 200 customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The post had been shared many times by social media users, and many Facebook users expressed their reactions and comments to the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is the capture of the Facebook post on April 16, 2024, saying, \u201cDior Cambodia is entering a new era. We are bringing special gifts for the upcoming Khmer New Year Festival. A thousand gifts will be sent to you during this special occasion. Codes with a special discount of 60 percent for Lady Dior \u2013 bag with perfection \u2013 will be given to the first 200 customers who make an order via SMALL LADY DIOR BAG: https:\/\/www.aeonmallphnompenh.online\/lady-dior-bag<\/a>. It\u2019s a place where you will experience how big the store is and how attractive the design it was created with your concepts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Facebook page named Aeon Mall Mean Chey<\/a> also posted the promotion, saying Dior Cambodia is offering discounts of up to 66 percent on the occasion of the company’s 78th<\/sup> anniversary. The post said the discount was given to customers who clicked on a link attached to the post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
