On November 01, 2022, one of the Facebook users posted a video clip showing the scene of the bodies. The video was attached and claimed to be victims of a stampede in Seoul, South Korea, recently. This claim was shared by many Facebook users multiple times, along with varied expressions and reactions.

The same video clip above was found and posted on YouTube on October 31, 2022. This video is not associated or linked with the incident of the stampede that occurred in Seoul, South Korea, at all.

The above news website confirmed in Indonesian that these photos are parts of a traditional festival called “Calonarang”. This proves that it is not the scene of a recent stampede in South Korea, as claimed above, at all.
