Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni has been on the throne for almost 20 years and does not have an officially announced wife. Then, three photos showing the king’s images printed in a book titled “KING OF GAY” were posted on social media. Many comments and reactions had been expressed over the post. After our investigation, however, we prove the photos are digitally edited.

A Facebook user named Mammo Mammo Mammo uploaded three photos earlier this week, showing images of Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni were printed in a book titled “KING OF GAY”.
Many Facebook users commented and reacted to the post which was shared in different social media groups.
Below is the capture of the post with a caption in Thai that read “อย่าลืมไปอุดหนุนหนังสือเล่มนี้นะครับ “KING OF GΔY” นะครับ” – do not forget to buy this book ‘KING OF GAY’ in English.
Fact Check
Fact Crescendo Cambodia began an investigation into the post by running Google Reverse Image Search which led us to find out the truth as below.
We found out the original photo of the book was printed without having images of the Cambodian King, and the cover of the book was not titled like that.
The original photo shows a book titled “The Deep and Rich History of Temmie” and its cover was printed with a kind of drawing. The photo of the book is available on Deviant Art.
We also found out another photo of the book was printed without an image of the Cambodian king. The original photo seen in the book was printed with an image of the British writer Stella Berry. The photo is available on the website named after her. Stella Berry is known for her murder mystery.
We found out the final photo was not printed with an image of the Cambodian king too. The original photo available in Unsplash shows there are some scripts in a book read by someone.
We tried to search for a book titled “KING OF GAY”, but it is not available on the Internet at all.
Conclusion
Fact Crescendo Cambodia found the three photos mentioned earlier are digitally edited. The original photos show no images of Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni were printed in the book. “The Deep and Rich History of Temmie” book`s cover is shown by photo.
