Fact-Check: Does PM Hun Sen have a buttock like Kim Kardashian’s butt?

A human rights activist Seng Theary appeared for the hearing in the Phnom Penh Court of First Instance on December 07. She showed her bald head and wore an Apsara ballerina cloth. Some days later, Prime Minister called her “bald Apsara” in his public address.

In early this January, Seng Theary posted a photo showing PM Hun Sen had a big buttock and belly like American actress Kim Kardashian. The post has been multiple shared by social media users along with a mixture of comments and reactions. After our investigation, however, it proves the photo is altered.

On January 02, a Facebook user posted a photo that shows Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen had a big belly and buttock while playing golf on a green field.

The Facebook user wrote a caption saying PM Hun Sen’s body looks like American actress Kim Kardashian.

The Facebook user’s post has been multiple shared by social media users, and some of them expressed a mixture of comments and reactions.

Below is a capture of the post read: “If this is an unaltered image, it reminds me of Kim Kardashian, but he’s natural…”

Fact Crescendo Cambodia began a verification by running Google Reverse Image, leading us to see the factual image.

This image was found in Samdech Hun Sen, Cambodian Prime Minister, the official Facebook page of PM Hun Sen. The social media page posted the photo on October 26 in 2019, showing PM Hun Sen playing golf at a field.
