It was reacted to with mixed comments and shared by Facebook users speaking Khmer. However, after checking recent posts on Pheng Vannak’s Facebook page, it proves that the above claim is false.

On December 24, 2022, a Facebook page called “News Fast” shared a photo showing Pheng Vannak lying in a hospital and claiming he had passed away. This claim attached to the picture above has been spread and reacted to with comments many times by Facebook users who speak Khmer.

An exact photo of the same format was initially posted on Pheng Vannak's official Facebook account on December 23, 2022, without confirming in his writings that he had passed away. On the other hand, Pheng Vannak's writings above show and encourage social media users to consult with doctors regularly to stay healthy.
