On November 22, 2022, a Facebook page called “Sophear Roth” posted four photos, one showing people standing in line in one of Cambodia’s malls waiting to buy an S22 watch. This claim was actively shared by social media users, along with various expressions and reactions.

The following is an image captured from the Facebook page above that reads in Khmer and translates in English as “It occurs in the mall; many people rush to buy S22 smartwatches at a discount 50% 😱in Cambodia”.

Fact Crescendo Cambodia started reviewing the photos and claims above through Google Reverse Image Search, leading us to find the following facts.

The photo, which shows the crowd, was found and posted on H&M's Facebook page, which shows the view of many people lined up on the grand opening day of the H&M clothing store at the Aeon Mall in Tan Phu Celadon.
