On October 14, 2023, a Facebook page posted a 38-second video clip showing a child trapped under the collapse of a building. The video clip is linked to the war between Israel and Hamas Palestine that has happened recently.

The post with the video clip above has been shared many times by social media users, along with mixed opinions and reactions as well.

Fact Check

Fact Crescendo Cambodia reviewed and verified the above claim through the Google Reverse Image Search process, which led to the following facts:

A video clip with the exact same view and format was found on the Reuters website, published on February 12, 2023. The same website does not confirm that it is the view of the victims because of the recent war between Israel and Hamas Palestine.

Instead, it is a scene of rescuing a child victim trapped under a rubble earthquake in Aleppo, Syria, after the earthquake that occurred in February 2023. ​
