As Russia continues its full-scale invasion into Ukraine, a video filming a couple covering a song together was posted on social media. It was claimed the couple is Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenskyy and his wife Olena Zelenska. The video has been virally circulated on social media in recent weeks as Ukraine is at war against the Russian invasion. After our investigation, however, we found the claim is false.

A 4:28-minute video was posted on social media and claimed it was Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenskyy and his wife sang a song together.
The video has been widely watched and shared along with comments and reactions applauding the couple.

Fact Crescendo Cambodia began an investigation into the claim mentioned above by running Google Reverse Image Search which led us to find out the truth as below.
The video was published on YouTube on February 20, few days before Russia launched a full-scale invasion into Ukraine.
The video shows music “Endless Love” covered by Alejandro Manzano of the American cover band Boyce Avenue and British singer Connie Talbot. The full video can be watched through the link here.
By comparing the images of the Ukrainian couple and images of the American artist with the British singer, we found how they look different.

CONCLUSION
Fact Crescendo Cambodia found out the claim mentioned above is false. The couple singing a song together is not the Ukrainian President Volodymir Zelenskyy and his wife. The couple appearing in the video is the artist Alejandro Manzano of American cover band who cover a song ‘Endless Love’ with British singer Connie Talbot. The video was posted on YouTube some days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine took place.
