This claim has been shared many times, received mixed comments and reactions from Khmer-speaking Facebook users.

As Mark Zuckerberg is the founder, chairman and CEO of Meta, which he originally founded as Facebook in 2004, he is also responsible for setting the overall direction and product strategy for the company.

According to his announcement recently on his official Facebook page, the founder of this social media site has confirmed that the company will launch the purchase of getting Meta Verified or Blue Tick for a Facebook account for less than $15.

Zuckerberg also confirmed that the new program will be launched in Australia and New Zealand with a purchase price of $11.99 for the website and $14.99 for iOS. However, Zuckerberg did not confirm that the company would charge a fee for setting up a Facebook account for social media users.
